The Potholes in the alley behind Hill Top and Forest View are absolutely horrible and keep getting worse with each rain. The city laid gravel about a year ago, but you cant tell anymore. I am requesting that more gravel be dumped ahead of the winter to stop the erosion and washing away effect.

@K.Lewis. Here's how this is going to go down:
1. The City will acknowledge your complaint (done).
2. Then another City person will state that their equipment to fix the alley is being repaired.
3. Next the City will repost my comment with my personal email address (not sure why but they don't have anything better to do).
4. Finally, the City will close this request (they've done that with several other alley repair requests) hoping you don't notice.
5. Then the cycle begins again.
6. Do-loop, rinse and repeat. Good luck!

grow worse with every snowfall and all the city says is we will get to it when we are done picking up leaves... WTW?? The alley is dangerous to drive and walk in at this point... its becoming near impassible making my off street parking null and void! It doesn't appear that they care what this does to the value of a neighborhood!! Im frustrated. Any suggestions for a next step??? I appreciate you acknowledging my comment with more gusto that the city has!!

@KLewis. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Get very squeaky and vocal.
Call the mayor. Everyday. They'll WANT to fix it so you'll stop bothering them! Truly!

@Sorrento-- I tried to look that one up, but cant seem to find it. I am already depressed by the lack of concern that the City has for fixing this issue. I shouldn't have wasted my time putting this out there... I am wondering where my tax dollars go in terms of road repair-- The City of Richmond is truly disappointing me. :(
I see you have are ranked pretty high in terms of reporting things... any tips on how to get some action from the City??
