Not true. I have often put hedge trimmings on the street in 4x4 piles without tying them and they have always been picked up. Did it just wo weeks ago.

Same for me. I have put lots of yard waste including limbs and brush and it’s always been picked up. The only problem that I have is the mess they leave behind.
