I'm sure you always drive the speed limit on Creek Rd., right?

Oh I didnt see someone else had already posted so I also posted on this road. Glad to hear it is just not me concerned about this horiific accident waiting to happen!

Not speeding on this road will help but will it make a big difference to the families of the people who get hurt or possibly killed to know the driver was doing 30mph or 40mph?

To make a bad situation worse, one of our government entities has encouraged bicycling on Rte. 282 by putting up "share the road" signs all along the roadway. Brilliant.

Penndot spends millions of Taxpayers money on bike trails. USE them and stay the hell off of the roads.

Roads that don't have a 3 ft shoulder shouldn't allow bikes. Its how accidents happen and people get killed. The Struble trail runs along 282 so there is no need for the bikers to be on it. If there isn't enough riding for them - go somewhere else. Go to Lancaster county....most of the main roads have large shoulders to accomodate the buggies. Granted, some of the back roads aren't built for it but many of the roads are wider to handle it. These old country roads with no shoulders and ditches aren't the place for bikers......anytime. There is no room to share the road.

Last night I watched a cyclist run TWO stop signs and nearly get clipped by one car. Of course when it suits them, they recite PA Vehicle Statutes ad nauseum. This is truly a wreck waiting to happen. Oh, and just to circumvent the comment -- no one was speeding, no one was breaking the law except the cyclist who was running the stops.
