The title should read "Slats" not dlats. The wood slats on the bridge are incredibly rough. There are nails poking out of the wood that could cause cuts, shoe damage, or flat bike tires. Please re-surface this bridge!

Agreed, this is one really rough stretch of what is otherwise a gorgeous stretch of Greenway. I was surprised it wasn't resurfaced when all the other work was being done during the paving.

This is still an extremely rough surface to walk, bike, etc. Please re-surface this bridge!

This issue was resolved.

I road across the bridge this morning, and the issue was NOT resolved. On my parallel post from 4/22 on this issue, a rep from Raleigh Parks & Rec indicated that the bridge was scheduled to be redecked in the fall (presumably any day now), but thus far there's no sign of the work being started.

Two years ago, and this hasn't even been acknowledged. Something's wrong with this picture, as well as with this bridge.
