The City of Berkeley does not follow SeeClickFix reports in each council district, so if you are interested in having the East Bay Bicycle Coalition follow up on this issue you can report it directly on their website at www.ebbc.org/hazards. Or you can make sure it gets on the city's radar by reporting it via the Berkeley 311 service request page at www.ci.berkeley.ca.us/onlineservicecenter

The City of Berkeley should now be following and acknowledging SeeClickFix reports. Cedar is a minor arterial with substantial commute traffic from the N. Berkeley hills. Oxford is a common route for bicyclists going to campus and further south and there are marked bicycle lanes South of Hearst. The poor condition of the road and the relatively high speeds of some drivers makes some bicyclists use the sidewalks.
