Description
The city drainage ditch between the properties on Shell Road is in dire need of cleaning. It has not been cleared since last year. The ditch is overgrown, I've seen rats, snakes, and other creatures. There is standing water which is increasing the amount of mosquitoes. With hurricane season reaching its peak, this needs to be addressed ASAP.

Public Works has created SR# 91562256 to have the ditch inspected for drainage issues. This is a mosquito control ditch and those are cleaned every 5 years, however we will inspect for drainage issues.
Thank you

Public Works Operations has inspected this ditch and a Work Order (#2647036) has been created to clean this ditch, however ditch work is currently backlogged 6-9 months.
Thank you.

The ditch issue continues to worsen. The mosquitos are out in abundance. It's been well past the 6-9 months since the work order was issued. Please advise where this stands.
