We finally had the the road repaved a couple of weeks ago however many driveways especially one side that just last year had curbs installed by the town due to excessive eroding of property during heavy rain and melting snow and several of the curbs especially driveways are left uneven, with gaps of several inches to the road. Cars are in danger of bottoming out and the jagged edges could damage tires. I can't believe the town hasn't addressed the issue which has also left several homeowners with crumbling blacktop due to this. We need a "lip" to avoid the problems of water streaming down the road but one that is reasonable and EVEN. It looks terrible and unfortunately the people paving when asked said "not our problem". The town wasn't in a hurry to fix it either. PLEASE fix it. I drove around town and our road is the only one I could see with this problem. We deserve to have the curbs restored to the way they were prior to repaving - we waited years and now in all fairness our tax dollars are just as good as anyone elses. nThe job should be done in a complete and accurate maner. Please fix.
