There is a constant problem of speeding coming down S. Chester and once crossing Garrison Blvd the semi-trailers and vehicles will pick up speed. There is a church on the corner, not to mention a day care on the left. It is non-stop 24/7 with this issue. 3 years ago I reported the problem to the State Hwy dept and it took them 1 year to contact me and state they would install a flashing speed limit sign only temporarily to be able to read the chip inside to make sure it was feasible to remain there. The sign stayed up for 30 days and cars/trucks began slowing down to the posted 35mph speed limit and then the sign was removed. After several weeks I was told the "chip" inside had been lost and that was the end of that. In the last 8 years there have been far too many accidents at this location and it needs to be addressed and a flashing speed limit sign installed. Not only will it save lives but also save houses.
