One of my tenants has claimed the couch. I don’t know what happened to the mattress but it is gone. Situation resolved.

Pretty typical in my experience. Running joke is if you put anything with some value on Orange Street, it will be gone within two hours. If it gets posted with pic to SeeClickFix as "illegal dumping", it'll be gone in a few minutes.
