I’m having an issue with cars parking across my driveway (not with just a small part of the car sticking into my driveway area, but rather the car blocking my driveway in its entirety). This happens most frequently on street cleaning days. After one of the first times it happened, I called the police to ask if the car could be removed and was told it could only be towed if my car was in the driveway and was being prevented from exiting by the parked car. I don’t want a car that’s blocking my driveway to be ticketed or towed, but it seems they’re not noticing that my driveway is there, so I was hoping painted driveway lines might make the area more obvious.
