Pinellas County “Doing Things for YOU” !
I've reopened this Issue because nothing has been resolved after almost a year. I have received a couple of notices that is problem is being addressed but that was also at the end of last year. Was very excited to get an email that this issue had been resolved but it seems to only be in regards to closing the issue online and no actual action has taken place.
Thank you for your comment, jshore. This issue originally went to Pinellas County, who sent it to us to address - we entered a work request, had the location inspected by Community Services, and the job was sent to Pavement Maintenance to complete. Somehow that job got hung up in our work order system - we've since sent a reminder to Pavement Maintenance and asked that they make sure this job is in their queue to be fixed as soon as possible, hopefully with a high priority. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, and sorry for the delay. Sincerely, Mayor's Action Center

Good morning, jshore - yes, you are correct that this issue should remain in its 'Acknowledged' status until the Pavement Maintenance Department is able to address the requested repair. The work order is still open, and this location is still in queue to be fixed. Since this issue was opened initially to the attention of Pinellas County, they weren't aware that we (the City of St Pete) were still working on this, which is why it was closed prematurely. We will send Pavement Maintenance another reminder that this location still needs to be repaired - any updates we receive will be posted here. Thanks again - Mayor's Action Center

jshore - I've asked Pinellas County to not close this issue until we tell them. Sorry for any confusion.
