This has been an ongoing problem that has now culminated into several very deep and a few less deep potholes. The Town of Islip has to find a better way of repairing potholes than throwing asphalt out of a moving truck and expect the cars to push it down.

Cerrado Town of Islip DPW (Invitado)
DPW crew has filled the above pothole with cold patch. Unfortunately the asphalt plants have been closed due to the weather, limiting our options for filling potholes. I have spoken to the area highway coordinator and as soon as available the above pothole will be filled appropriately with hot asphalt patch.
