Descrizione
People are driving excessively fast on this section of road. The speed limit is only 45 and people are exceeding 60mph in this area. This is a great area with historic homes but do not get in the way of the speeding cars, they will run you over. No sidewalks in this area does not help us to get around safely. Please patrol this area for speeders.

This was posted in the Community News in March on how to report speeding issues.
Several Clifton Park residents have used the newspaper’s SeeClickFix platform in recent weeks searching for help with speeding automobiles.
The two specific streets mentioned in their posts were Vischer Ferry Road and Miller Road.
Regulations for the Clifton Park Security Force prevent them from ticketing or arresting drivers that are seen breaking local speed limit laws, passing stop signs, and ignoring traffic lights. According to Security Force personnel all complaints of such violations made to town hall are presented to Town Supervisor Philip Barrett.
Upon being notified of the complaints Barrett has the option of ordering the security force to do a radar surveillance of the site or call Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies directly.
Personnel with the sheriff’s department said they will check specific areas upon complaints from residents as well as the town supervisor. If the speed limit violations are continuous ,residents should call the Sheriff’s Department’s non-emergency phone number, 885-6761.
New York State Police spokeswoman Maureen Tuffey suggested residents send a letter with the complaint of speeders directly to the sargeant in charge (Bill Carraher) of the Clifton Park State Police substation in the town’s Public Safety Building, Route 146. The letter should detail why more enforcement is needed and be signed by residents in the area concerned with the alleged violations.
