First, thank you for cleaning up the graffiti at Lake Merritt. Prompt abatement has made a big difference in reducing the rate of tagging. The attached photo shows two spots on the pedestrian bridge where it appears PWA chose to paint over the graffiti, but used a bright green that doesn't match the bridge. Bridge is a standard City of Oakland color, "RAL 6009 Dark Green". It might seem minor, but this is a brand new bridge and it is important to keep it looking good, and being a City standard color I hope this isn't too much to ask.

PS: Same request for the new restroom wall, which recently got a patch of the darker door color painted over graffiti on the Sherwin-Williams "Antique White" wall (another standard color for Lake Merritt structures). Again, thanks for your work.

Can the Publuc Works Agency make sure the standard colors (RAL 6009 Dark Green and Antique White) are used in the future? I also thank the Agency for its prompt abatement, and agree tht that helps reduce tagging. Now we just have to keep the new Lake Merritt area looking beautiful.

Thank you for painting over one spot on the pedestrian bridge with the matching color. However, you missed the second spot which is a few feet below the first one. A new photo is attached. Also, the mis-matched color on the restroom wall still needs to be painted over. Thank you.

Thank you for using the matching dark green color on the latest abatement work on the pedestrian bridge. It really makes a big difference in appearance.

Unfortunately I need to reopen this issue because the restroom wall mentioned twice above still has a mismatched patch on the wall facing the lake, and last week the brown door color was again used to paint over graffiti on the white wall above the sinks. Photo is attached. I believe that the proper color is Sherwin-Williams "Antique White". The Lake Chalet, Pergola, East 18th St. Pier, and this restroom were all painted the same color to make it relatively easy for maintenance. Could you please carry a bucket of this "Lake Merritt standard" white paint in the truck, or leave it in the restroom closet? Thank you.
