City of Oakland. Something must be done about the encampment on Kirkham St! Please try driving down this street! It is impossible! This encampment has been here for over 1 year. Something must be done! homeless people who live there took over the right lane now can't even drive threw that street, PLEASE CITY OF OAKLAND DO SOMTHING ABOUT THIS it's so crazy even to drive!!!!!!

Yes, this is turning into a slum and a public health hazard.
This has been getting worse and worse for nearly an year and now we are in the midst of the COVIC19 pandemic and its "hands off" until further notice.
Also, this encampment is moving around the corner up 5th st. Another RV just parked there last week- across 4 parking spaces, with another car or two, grill, junk and garbage... will it end up moving right into the BART parking lot?

I just called Joe DeVries a minute ago (the second time this week).
Also sent an email with photos about this area around Kirkham, 3rd, Peralta.
Here is his email and phone number (city hall is closed- but his message says he is in the emergency command center and will respond to emails- but I have not heard back as of today)
