You should think about getting a petition, I don't think speed humps are the answer and not everyone wants them in heavily residential areas. They affect normal traffic flow, introduce more wear and tear on you vehicle, and sometime add to the response time of police, fire and medic. On a personal note kids should be taught not to play in the roads and to cross the streets where they should like we were taught when we were kids.
