Living on McKishnie and having to drive in either direction on this road is horrendous. The amount of potholes and bad patch work done by the city has created quite the obstacle course for drivers. However, the one "smooth" strip from Barris to Little Mack needs speed limit signs. Living on this strip, we have seen cars get fly past at 60+. We have contacted the Police Dept where they have put up the electronic speedometer, however posted signs would be great!!

why complain about mckishnie, look around you the whole south end of this township needs to be looked at. the township cares nothing about us liviing in this area. the area needs someone hired to go around and inspect the properties for blight. we need this area cleaned up, and their are so many rentals that the residents could care less,the landlords must be held accountable. then pave and widen beaconsfield, finley, mckishnie. if this area ever came up for city status again i would vote for it lhis time, if it raised my taxes ,so be it at least i would get something for my money.

I agree with original posting. Speed limit signs would be great as well as a complete redo of the ashpalt. I have to use both ends of that street almost daily and they are horrendous, also dangerous in bad weather when stopping on the potholes makes your anti-lock brakes not work.

I agree. This road has been a mess for over a year. Keeping the large trucks from Art Van and John's Lumber from using it as a main road would also help to keep the road from eroding so quickly.

Yes, they start speeding up on Barris which is only about 300 ft. wide anyway. Actually I remember this street being potholed back when I was riding my bike down it (before Little Mack was put through) 30 years ago. I think the paving is original. I posted on this below 7 months ago, so I see how much this website is helping.

No commercial traffic should be allowed on this road. Signs without enforcement will do no good. CT is just that way.
