People turning into Meredith Manor are getting repeatedly rear ended. Not just one car, but multiple cars. Last nite, 9/20 at around 7:30, four cars were rear-ended domino style. Road blocked off, ambulances and fire trucks. People possibly seriously hurt. Two things are happening. Drivers tailgating too fast on this country road that has turned into a highway and drivers wanting to go to a wedding or other event at Meredith Manor and they are coming up too fast on to the driveway and not giving enough notice to fellow drivers that they are planning to turn. I am shocked no one has been killed yet. This is a major problem and I do not see South Coventry or Meredith Manor doing anything to address this situation. Occasionally you may see a Trooper sitting in a yellow stripped middle section where the rode was widened at the small shopping center just south of here, handing out chicken poop tickets, but that's it. Any ideas out there on what to do?? We live right near here and I have had a family member get rear-ended and car totaled. This was 4 years ago. Turning into our drive and is a very cautious driver and had the turn signal on 1/2 mile before turn and still got hit. Bad JUJU at Meredith Manor driveway area. Travel at own risk cause no one else gives a damn.
