Totally disregarding Jones Middle School Zone. Many are parents turning into the school for drop off or teachers running late.

Hampton 311 Call Center (客人)

This is a police issue so should be reported to them via their non-emergency number, 757-727-6111.

It may be a police issue, however I live right behind this property and police are NEVER out there stopping these speeders that go up and down Amherst like they are running the Daytona 500. It happens every day just about.

This is fact. I travel Nickerson most mornings while the school zones lights are flashing. I'm passed at excessive speeds and often times they turn into either the faculty parking lots or the student drop-off.

Nothings been done by HPD. Had one blow past me yesterday at a high rate of speed, did a NASCAR style brake check, and turn into the student drop off parking area. Someone will have to be maimed of killed before HPD takes a role. ALways reactive rather then proactive.

Alpha is not correct. They post radar on Andrews but you never see them posting on Nickerson.

Wirried Parent,
There is a police satellite station on Nickerson Blvd.
Immediatly adjacent to the"#1 Chinese" take out shop.
Probably less than 1/2 mile from the school. Perhaps they can file a report
Or, 727-8311 city call center. Have the girls direct your concerns to Police traffic division.

Still an issue in front of Jones and never see police presence. Same thing goes on at Woodland from Andrews to Kecoughtan HS. Once in a blue moon you "may" see radar down there but it's very rare. Twice I have been passed by DANGEROUS speeding vehicles turning into Kecoughtan and behold they park in the teachers parking area. What an example they lead by. Late for work so they become a hazard to society.
