IMO you cannot expect a green on Starkey thats 2 miles away, and has 2 signals in between, when going east on Bryan Dairy from Seminole Blvd. But let see what the techs say.

Yes you can. It has worked that way on the past when on time based synchronization. It is all based on speed of the road, clocks in sync , etc. the adaptive software used by the county doesn’t work and you can see that on other corridors it has been installed in with signals even closer.

Of course there is no perfect system, and time of day plays a big part in syncro vs adaptive and timeout lengths, it's really very complex. Seminole to Starkey and EB acts very different before 8 am vs after, I noticed. One improvement I've seen is left turn arrows on smaller street with adaptive improving wait times. Personally I like roundabouts but the public cannot handle that.

Not when they are built like the one in Clearwater especially. Two lanes and both can go straight or turn left 😳

Checked route on day of complaint. No issues recorded. Vehicle speeds could be a factor. There may be a couple of stops along the way but the overall delay is minimal. If you have any further questions please call the Traffic Control Center at 727-464-8926.

So running speed limit is an issue? Was this running “adaptive “ at that time? Getting stopped at red lights is an issue. Don’t think you would see that unless recording video at locations. Time to get a dashcam and post videos I guess.
