Description

This crossing is SO DANGEROUS!!! Someone is going to get killed there. I don't know why it was not fixed when the curbs were pulled to give the pizza place parking.
The turn from Webb St to Collins is designed like a highway on-ramp, so when someone sees the red light on Bridge st and wants to avoid it, they fly around the corner onto Collins St for the cut through, only problem is there is a heavily used cross walk right there.
Those streets should be at a 90 degree angle to each other so people forced to slow down, I though (or hoped ) that was the objective of the construction before, not just to add 2 parking spots to the pizza place.
If this city actually cares about "complete streets", pedestrians would benefit much more from a fix to this, then to paving the other side of the Collins Cove walking path.
PLEASE think of some solution as I just witnessed someone almost get run over!!!
