Description

This intersection is becoming more and more dangerous. The speed limit from either direction is 45 MPH and frequently cars ignore the signal change to red and simply fly through the intersection. It is becoming more frequent that it is not even people trying to beat the yellow light and missing but people even back a distance are simply not slowing down or stopping. There is going to be a major accident if something is not done as cross traffic cannot predict someone going through the red light even after several moments have passed. I think the speed limit needs to be dropped to 30 MPH prior to the intersection to encourage compliance.
