Beschreibung
Last summer we reported this problem (311 incident link below) of increased speeds and collisions on Hurlbut Street and the prescribed solution by the city was to converse with Traffic directly. As of last communication the options being weighed were to make the street one way north to Linnaean St or raise the x-walks. There was no decisive course of action. Since then there have been 3 more bumpers smashed off, and nearly a dozen scrapes and mirrors sheared. Two of which happening in the same spot (a car coming fast and blind off Linnaean, forces a north heading car into a parked car) in the same week (now -- pics attached). The situation is increasing, we need to find a path forward. I'll be reaching out to traffic again, but am placing this ticket here so a) it's documented and b) neighbors can weigh in.
