Immediate safety concerns found on 1/17/20 has been resolved.
New hazardous of similar nature found again during 2/7/20 field inspection.
-large shard of glass at bottom of stairs on NUNM end where they can be reasonably stepped on
- large pile of trash that's not customary to reasonable use as a pedestrian passage.
Hazardous conditions found on Jan 17, 2020 have been cleared, but additional conditions have returned. Shattered glass at bottom of steps on NUNM end. pile of trash of unknown origins towards the south end of tunnel.
Field visit photo attached.
This tunnel has been called out as a nuisance to the area in 2012. A crosswalk has been added since that time. If ODOT can not spare the funds to maintain it in safe conditions, it should be closed!
