Description

Designated bike path on Park Blvd is extremely needed in the lower portion. Above 580 there is a clear path, but it disappears on the lower end. I see students and commuters biking down this busy road regularly as there really is not an alternative route to BART or Lake Merritt. I think since it's so highly trafficked by bikers, they should have a safely marked path. I am terrified to bike myself and fear for the brave folks (sometimes parents with children!) as it seems like cars have no patience or care for their safety. Please get us a bike path!!
