We tried to get bike lanes on Piedmont through the Buckhead TMA 2 years ago, but no dice. The Connect Atlanta Plan (connectatlantaplan.com) does call for bike facilities on Piedmont. We think making Piedmont Park more bike accessible should be a priority, but will have to work with the state on this issue as it's a state route. Wish us luck!

Long-term planning issues related to bicycle infrastructure are better addressed by the Transportation Division of the City of Atlanta Office of Planning.
