Why hasnt this rd been fixed---is it because it is not in an affluent area? Its been over a year since the flood happened...whats the excuse?

I do now see the problem.. The culverts that have been replaced are HUGE.. The one for 63rd would be real small. If there were another flood.. It would still flood bad on 63rd. Still it would be nice to see someone doing something down there.. Even scratch there heads looking at the problem. Still nothing has been done. Last I heard was sometime in 2014.. Kind of like don't hold your breath..

With the two big culverts put in above 63rd.. If there were a flood tomorrow.. I sure would hate to be in that area. Going from a near 20' high by 12' wide at Cody St. to near nothing on 63rd.. Where would all of that water go?? Even with the snow melt from this Winters snowfall will cause a major problem when it comes to 63rd..

I used to live 3 doors up from Bristol on 63rd N, and have been wondering the same thing, I notice out east, things are not getting done, as far as I can see, THEY ARE DONE> Same old story.

Ness and the rest of the Duluth City Council only gives a damn about East. It's getting ridiculous. I mean, look at Lincoln Park. Just take a walk through there. It use to be beautiful. My husband and I were going to get married there. The park is disgusting now because of Miller Creek tearing it up. There is a legitimate swamp at Third Street now.

Well most of everything has been done except for 63Rd Ave West. Another Winter is coming on and still go way out of the way to get to Grand Ave. I understand the problem the City is having with it, but it isn't like this problem has never come up before. By the time they have it figured out.. They will have spent there money Downtown on more dumb bricks for the streets. In another month it will be 2014. Come on City of Duluth. How long does it take to fix this street???

I heard a start time of April 30th. We will see.. May have to fix the bricks on Superior Street, or rebuild all of the streets out East because of a one pot hole found.

63rd is being rebuilt now. Not sure when it will be finished, but lets hope it is soon.
