Good luck - it took 8 months and repeated calls to DPD to get a shell of a car off the street. I’m talking just the body on wheels with no engine. 8 months.
There has been an unregistered car that cannot be driven in the back yard at 240 Lansdowne for 4 years and CoD won’t make the owner remove it. For some reason there is a reluctance on the part of Decatur‘s governance and the police department to enforce any of the issues we would call “quality-of-life issues“.
The vehicle has been inspected and tagged with a five (5) day notice to be removed. Efforts have been made to reach the owner with no results. If the vehicle has not been move after receiving additional notice via Certified Mail, the vehicle is subject impound.
