This entire street needs to have the ditches covered. It would reduce the constant standing water (breeding ground for mosquitoes) and provide better parking (currently unsafe conditions with so many cars parked in street). Is Harris County ever going to address this??

I reported the same at 1015 w 24th street. The city armchair jockey replied that drainage system operates per design. The department won't do anything until the face higher scrutiny, or are forced to leave their cubicles to actually get out and do a field review.
Try sending your complaint to the health department, especially when news coverage begins on the hazards of mosquito breeding and West Nile Virus concerns.
