On the West side of the bridge there is a lot of log and tree branches they are helping to block one of the culverts. On the East side of the bridge the rocks are piling up in the centre of the creek. When it rains really hard the flow of water is diverted to the embankments, this allows the water to undermine the trees. Several have fallen in the last year. The City should watch the creek when its in flood. As already mentioned, the hole in the dam is slowing the flow of water.
The city enlarged the culverts after five people drowned but with the trees blocking one side and the rocks diverting water on the other side the flow of floodwater is impeded from going downstream.
