Glen Meade Road has opposite turn and straight lanes on either side of 17th Street. If you are waiting at the light on Glen Meade on the side of Port City Java, trying to go straight across toward the CVS, you take your life in your hands. The left and straight lanes are combined into one; whereas on the CVS side, the right and straight lanes are combined. When the light turns green it's a free-for-all. Everybody's confused, nobody knows when to yield, and it's nothing but chaos. I have to cross going to work everyday, and I have almost been in probably 100 accidents.

This issue still has not been resolved and probably never will - even though the wrecks are adding up, and everyday the intersection gets more and more congested. The solution is intuitive - however, we know government doesn't operate on common sense. Please support fixing this issue.

There has been absolutely no progress on this issue. Our city can build convention centers, parking decks, hotels, performing arts centers, and everything else that they can cut ribbons and get photo ops with - but they can't repaint and re-sync an intersection.

Between Medical center Drive and Glen Meade, there once was a sign to let drivers know that the left lane will be ending and you must make a left on Glen Meade. The sign has been missing for months, so now drivers are diving to the right when they realize the lane will be ending! Very dangerous!
