Description
It's great to see improvements to Hohman Ave between 141st & 138th and 139th between Hohman Ave and Sheffield Ave. As a result Sheffield Av is getting all the traffic from 138th down to Gostlin rerouting from Hohman. It is dangerous crossing the street or even getting out of your vehicle if parked on the street, because it's so DARK at night. Since a Parkway was added to 139th and light poles in the middle of the Parkway, why can't we do that to Sheffield Ave. Dist. Councilman Kalwinski said couldn't add lights to sidewalks. NOW DON'T NEED TO, just add Parkway and lights in the middle?

my home was built in 1914
142nd street and sheffield.
there is no lights on the street
if neighbors did not have home lights on
the street would be totally dark.
we need lights for safety.
Still don't even have curbs on our block!!!
