Almost 2 years, and nothing has been done, and the tree continues to grow. I would like to state that if this tree or any part thereof comes down in a storm and damages my property or effects the business there, the city will be responsible for 100% of any damages caused, as I have written and electronic proof that I have submitted requests to have it trimmed back. I would also like to ask, do I have the right to take the tree down (seeing it may constitute a hazard to my property) if the city takes no action to trim/prune it?
