People have been asking for this for 40 years. Not going to happen. We can't even afford to repair the ones that we already have. I used to drive across it daily. When it was deemed unsafe the fire dept. wanted it for acess to that area. Still waiting....

This would be a nice fix, although, I think it would be a hard sell to the taxpayers to pick up the tab on this bridge, being that it is not a major roadway. Look how long it has taken Edinburg to get their new bridge underway and that is a very much needed bridge.

The bridge provides a major shortcut for emergency vehicles and would cut response time by them not having to go through the village. Seeing as the Sheriff's office is right there, they would no longer have to go around to respond to calls.

it's never going to happen. county has more important items (political) to spend their cash on.
