Here at the new Walmart on 2421 Powell Ave, Nashville, TN 37204. There is no traffic light there. It's very hard for people coming out of the Walmart going onto Powell Ave . Because of traffic coming from Thompson lane also coming from the other direction. I have had many close encounters of having a wreck due to this issue. Please put up a Traffic Light before someone gets seriously hurt coming out onto Powell lane. (Walmart)

Public Works (Visitante)

Public Works does not install traffic signals at private driveways. It is the responsibility of Wal mart to install any traffic devices for their complex. Contact Public Works at 615-862-8750 for further questions or concerns.

I don't think anything will be done about it. Carmax fought to keep Walmart from moving in there and taking over that entrance. Carmax wanted Walmart to build a separate entrance on Thompson Lane, they would not. And now someone is going to have a serious wreck.

They already know about this issue even around the holiday's they have Metro directing the traffic. So everyone is aware of the issue. I will refuse to go to the Wal-mart there because 3 times now I almost have gotten hit coming and leaving Wal-mart. Someone is going to have a serious wreck I'm afraid, It's so dangerous. I have heard that something has to happen in order for something to be done. So sad to say that. But It's true. Wal-mart just says it's upto Public Works and Public works say it's upto Wal-mart. So who is responsible?
