2 homes on Academy seem to be vacant, and are overgrown with weeds. The first is to the right of the Baptist church, and I believe is known as the Manning House. The other,, which is virtually invisible due to overgrown is to the right of the driveway of the old Shirley home. Since Academy St. was widened, this house has been untended and is now an eyesore. I should think it would be a serious code violation, as well as a danger to children, and a huge detraction to the area.
