Asphalt contractor Blount milled and repaved Aurora Ct, Aurora Ln, Coronation Dr, Queensborough Dr and adjacent streets - equipment moved out after 7/26 approximately but they left behind a trail of asphalt and crushed rock all along the curbs in these streets. One or two curbs replaced prior were not backfilled and seeded.

This excess should have been swept and removed immediately after paving. The problem is that this debris will end up in storm sewers or even car's windshields. I saw a couple of days ago one of the older neighbors trying to scrape the asphalt that was stuck to the curb with a gardener's hand shovel - that is not right.

In summary I think DPW should inspect contractors work and ensure they clean and complete what is theirs to do.
