Yes could we get an update on if there's a plan for this street. Two blocks of New Scotland that didn't really need it just got paved while Brevator is wrecking my car.

Yes Brevator St. is the original '50s style concrete pavement complete with decades worth of patches. This well-traveled crosstown road is an embarrassment to the City. Why they've let it go for so long is beyond me.

Brevator is only two lanes, but people often drive it as four which is dangerous, especially for pedestrians since there isn’t enough space.

I've heard conflicting statements-- is Brevator owned and maintained by the City of Albany or by NYS OGS? If it's OGS, then the condition is absolutely unacceptable given the pristine state of the campus ring roads.

I realize this issue will not be fixed overnight, but some kind of response would be appreciated. Is it on a schedule for the future? Does the state have oversight of this street?( In which case I’ll abandon all hope) thanks

Molly McGuire, PLEASE POST A STATEMENT as to what the future holds for Brevator St and the approximate time frame. I realize it would be coming from someone else at City Hall, but you could at least post their response here. No, we are not going to call or ask for an individual meeting. Everyone deserves an answer.

Is this part of a budget/planning review for 2020 or anything?

I read the potholes were “filled” but I don’t think that word means what the city thinks it means.
