The traffic detail Shire has hired on Spring Street only stops traffic (in all directions) to allow cars into or out of Shire. This was already a dangerous intersection which has gotten worse with this detail. At first the detail directed traffic for all movements, but now they only stop cars to allow access into or out of Shire. Cars on Hayden have much worse access to Spring Street, but more importantly, on several occasions cars from Hayden ave have lurched into Spring street expecting the officer to secure a turning movement for them after they stopped traffic for Shire, but the officer just goes back to their post.
