Description

The 200 block of west Evergreen Ave. from Shawnee St. to Navajo St. in Chestnut Hill is an area used by many pet owners to walk their dogs. Unfortunately many dog owners do not clean up after their pets deposit their waste on the sidewalk and thus cause an extremely unpleasant and disgusting condition for pedestrians using the sidewalk. This is careless and irresponsible behavior on the part of dog owners. This issue was reported last year and for a time the issue seems to have been resolved but it seems that there are new dog owners that have moved into the neighborhood since then that are neglecting to clean up after their pets. It's not the fault of the dogs, it's the fault of the dog's owners. These people are ignorant slobs.
