I am familiar with that intersection, and the traffic problems in the area. I believe it is operating 'normally' but traffic patterns have changed dramatically. Cars headed west where the post described must cross a railroad tracks. This leads to big gaps between cars 2~3 back in the group. The intersection is timed to change when that pattern is detected. I remember seeing this exact scenario before any construction began, and massive amounts of traffic streamed into the area for game day activities. It appears to be daily now.

Now that they've closed the 610 feeder road that runs parallel with due to construction (which no ones has informed us of when this will finish), the detour signs make Holly Hall the only street to use which creates more traffic. The timer of this light needs to be extended at least until the construction is finished.
