  This street has been in disrepair for several years and is getting worse every winter. Last year at National Neighbor's Night out (2018) our then council member promised to look into it. This year no one from the city made an appearance. I live on the corner at Fairbanks and folks who speed up the hill and turn onto Scott, often slam on their brakes when they reach the first major pothole. There are several children under five who live here and I fear that a car will lose control and severely injure them.

  This street is small but actually a major thoroughfare for people crossing from Lakeshore Avenue over to Grand Avenue, and vice versa. Sees a remarkable amount of traffic. Just so you folks know.

  We are happy to have some more patches on the street, but they don't address the deterioration that led to the potholes in the first place. They also left cracks and depressions in the street. I believe the technical term for the problem with the street is RAVELING.

  The street has been patched repeatedly in the last few years, but because the street was never properly sealed when it was repaved years ago, the potholes return within a year. The surface of the street continues to deteriorate. It creates dust and dirt, small rocks from the aggregate are kicked up as well as creating the potholes that Please see the attached photos showing the bad surface on the street
