I reside at 71 East Williston Avenue in the Village of East Williston.
Since this stretch of Route 25B is under County jurisdiction, I am writing about a serious standing water issue on Route 25 B just east of Roslyn Rd.
Each time it rains there is a huge pond of water in front my house. Ponding also occurs after I water the grass, wash the car etc. The Village DPW has done their best to fix the issue but the root of the problem still remains. (There are puddles now in front of my house)
Not only is it unsightly, it is a breeding haven for flies and mosquitoes which we all know can cause serious health implications. (I have a 4 yr old special needs child)
I would appreciate your cooperation at your earliest convenience to investigate and rectify the situation. I have written several times to the County commissioner without any satisfaction.

It is ponding. Summer is coming as are mosquitos.
I have a son with Autism and am very worried.
Area where ponding occurs needs to be built up so water runs off.
It is a big problen and no one seems to care.
