Description
For some reason the pedestrians are determined to cross as the traffic approaches. There's often a traffic guard helping people cross at the giant clock ... we need one here too!

The problem is that the west corner is excessively rounded in order to make it slightly easier for cars heading east on Haddon Avenue to turn right onto Collings Avenue. This is nice for drivers but terrible for pedestrians. It creates an extremely long crosswalk.
Not only does this create a crossing difficulty for those spending time in Haddon Avenue, it also creates a needless psychological barrier that will cause an unknown number of shoppers/diners to turn around and head back instead of continuing on the the Lumberyard area.
Bring the corner out to where it should be.

We don't need another crossing guard at an intersection costing the taxpayers more money when there are multiple crossing guards on the same street within reasonable walking distance.
How about putting a cop at the intersection for a couple of days writing tickets for jaywalking?
