There is a water leak in the road, it has been reported several times by many neighbors. One night after 11pm a CMUD truck came out and looked at the spot, when 311 was called weeks later to find out why it had not been fixed the caller was told that CMUD does not dispatch anyone at 11pm. Either way, it has been over 2 months, the water runs and runs through the gutter and down the street to the next corner where it drains into a drainage opening. With all of the leaves now falling it is a big mess as well as a HUGE waste of water. 311 is very rude on every occassion of reporting this leak.

UPDATE
This leak was fixed Sunday Nov 14, 2010. Wish I could say it was due to this post but it was after yet another call to 311, this time the caller was directed to a supervisor at the actual utility, not just another 311 drone. The call was made Sunday afternoon, within a few hours workers came, dug up 2 sides of the road, fixed and/or replaced whatever was broken, put it all back together and were done shortly after dark. We are all glad to have it done and over with.
