Within a 6 month period there has been 2 explosions...one of which shook my entire house on(new Salem rd)..this is a JUNKYARD NOT Dyno Noble or Callahan, there should NOT be explosions! EVERY time I drive by there are rigs parked over the white line not to mention its right on the sharp turn point. Trucks back out of their without a care that a car could be coming. This place is VERY wreck less, dangerous, and absolutely disgusting. Nothing like welcoming people to Kingston with a touch of filth and DANGER!

I couldn't agree more. I cannot believe that it has been allowed to go on for so long. What are they going to wait untill someone gets seriously injured or killed?

What about the land-filling that was done? Is that legal? Next time there's a flood, it will be the neighbor's homes to go under, instead of the junkyard.

Eddyville, when are you going to complain to your town about this problem. no one is safe at this intersection of the road. this is not a kingston but an ulster problem.

I have also called and complained of the same road and dangerous situations this business is creating to the highway department and to no avail the issue is still there. Talk about the county needing funds for things FINES are they still in existence maybe a large fine will have this business adhere to local regulations and clean up the area. Iknow that it is a dangerous situation just waiting for someone to get killed.

A March 25, 2010 investigation by the state Department of Environmental Conservation resulted in the issuance of citations for hazardous waste violations, including failing to maintain records about the end of life vehicle dates; failing to maintain a contingency plan for fires, spills, release of vehicle fluids and receiving unauthorized materials; improper draining, removal and collection of fluids; and failing to properly store or marking fluid storage containers.

I went here to purchase some items out of a vehicle they were parting out and I was treated very rudely. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor by doing their jobs. Everyone I have talked to also agrees and said they have had these same type of experiences with this junkyard. I would recommend going to Millens, its not far from this one and the people there are much nicer and actually have respect for other people.
