The other issue is the grass must be greater than 12" in order to assign an inspector. Is the City employee who wrote this response really serious? I would hope that the response sent two days ago in an attempt to close this item was an auto generated response. I cannot believe that grass growing through the brick sidewalks needs to reach a height of 12" before the City can maintain it. Also, the property address that you state is needed to act is actually stated in the description of this issue as 1301-1309 Perry Street. It was also reference by GPS coordinates when it was filled. What else could you possibly need to locate this sidewalk? It is located at the SW corner of 13th and Perry Streets.

If the grass height needs to reach 12" before the City can file a code violation against itself (because the adjacent property owner is the Department of Parks with whom we have been trying to reach an arrangement that will let the property owner next door (us) clean up and beautify the park at our expense with no response after two years of trying) then this policy needs to be changed. Really!!!?
