Description
there should be a stop sign heading north on sellers ave. as you go across the bridge toward ridley ave. it is hard for drivers coming out of ridley ave to see cars coming across the bridge. the mirror doesn't help much it is fogged most mornings.

That would help the pedestrians crossing E Ridley too, right now anyone coming up Sellers and making a right on E Ridley whips around the corner too fast.
That mirror is useless, even if it isn't fogged it distorts the image so much that you can't tell what you're looking at and the cars approaching look so small you can't see them.

The bridge over the Amtrak tracks is planned to be raised 24" and what is now the intersection of Sellers and Ridley will be unrecognizable to drivers when it's all completed. The plans are not drawn yet, but the white surveyors' markers are there today on the Church and the Library lawns mapping out the wide breath the new highway and the new intersection. It's particularly troubling that the stores directly behind Double Decker's could be 3-4 feet below the street grade. When it comes time for the public hearings there'll be more details at Borough Hall and on RPOL

Here is my photo of Dupont & Free from 2009 when I did my investigation about the legality of the stop-sign there. For years it was thought to be a "convenience stop sign" and not a legally enforceable one where the police could write tickets and for that reason enforcement was inconsistent. Since my report folks are still not stopping at the stop sign, but they are receiving $110 tickets if they're caught.
