This is not the first time there have been issues with dumping at the City of Troy's Ingalls Avenue Boat Launch. I don't recall seeing a sign indicating "NO DUMPING" although I suspect that signage wouldn't make a difference to those so ignorant. It's probably the same type of people that have been dumping on Earl Street near Mount Olympus for years. It's an on-going issue that apparently our new hire in DPW isn't concerned with. We'll get the usual song and dance from the city about how they can't prevent it. How about some solar powered motion-sensitive lights? At the very least, they would scare the crap out of whoever is trying to dump.
