That must have been quite a wave! Reminds me of the first issue we saw fixed by residents in 2008. I believe Justin Elicker, FERP and some runners were involved in removing a boat from the trail. Maybe a repeat is in order.
Rob: But would it still be New Haven if you weren't driving through East Rock park and didn't see abandoned couches or old oil tanks along the side of the road that someone just pushed off a truck?
At least that's one less jet ski to worry about while swimming, sailing, or kayaking. But yeah, they ought to be in the dump not the park - better yet, recycled for machine parts...

:) Rob Rocke, did we consider that there could have been a phantom tsunami that none of noticed? Also, maybe this is one of those artsy climate change statements about future sea level?
